Dear Fellow State and University Employees:

The Board of Directors of the Milwaukee State and University Employees Combined Campaign would like to welcome you to the 2009 Campaign. Our theme this year is “Now Is Our TIME To Make A Change.” Last year our campaign raised $278,392 thanks to your generosity. This is an impressive amount but we know that with your help we can do even better in 2009. With the challenges of increased need in our community, cutbacks in funding, and increased financial burdens on community agencies, the Greater Milwaukee Charities need your help more than ever!

We have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to help those in need. You can contribute through easy tax deductible payroll deductions or a one time cash donation. This booklet describes the wide variety of charities toward which you can direct your generosity. You have the option of designating individual charities or umbrella organizations to benefit from your giving if that is what you prefer.

By completing your pledge card, you will become eligible for drawings for prizes at the end of the campaign. Your local coordinators also plan many special events to be held throughout the campaign that will offer you additional opportunities to participate. These events are fun and raise additional dollars for the campaign. If you are interested in holding a fundraising event feel free to contact us or your coordinator for assistance.
